Why this exists

SnapCSV started after a forty-minute fight with a single web-table export — the kind where you copy a table, paste it into Excel, and watch the whole thing collapse into column A. Existing tools either required subscriptions before testing or hadn't been touched since 2019. So we built the version that should have existed and shipped it on the Chrome Web Store.

Blank Canvas Ventures is a studio building Chrome extensions for spreadsheet workflows that should take seconds, not hours. SnapCSV is the first product. The next one is in progress.

FAQ

Things people ask before they install.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. SnapCSV runs entirely in your browser. We never see the pages you visit or the tables you export.

Which sites does it work on?

Anywhere with a standard HTML <table>. Wikipedia, Yahoo Finance, government data portals, internal dashboards. Tables built with <div> grids instead of <table> are on the roadmap.

What does the free tier include?

Every feature, capped at 10 exports per day. No feature is paywalled — only volume.

What happens after I buy Pro?

You get a license key by email. Paste it into the extension once. Unlimited exports forever, on up to 3 devices.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. 30 days, no questions, email support@snapcsv.app.

Does it work in Firefox / Safari?

Not yet. Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc) only at launch. Firefox is on the roadmap.
